THINGS TO DO OR TOURS

Mombasa is the starting point for more than 20 safaris and tours, from one-day trips around the city to 12-day treks that cover six national parks.

You can go on adventure for one or two days to the nearby national parks of Shimba Hills, Tsavo, and Taita Hills. If you want to see millions of wildebeest and zebra coming in from the Serengeti, you can go to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

You can be picked up at your beach resort by African Safari Kenya. They will then take you on the adventure of a lifetime and safely drop you off back at your resort.

In Watamu, you can visit the Bio-Ken Snake Farm & Laboratory (Serpentarium), the Watamu Turtle Watch (Wildlife Reserve), the Watamu Marine National Park, the Arabuko Sokoke Forest Reserve, and the Mida Dhow.

A landmark in Malindi is the Vasco da Gama Pillar. The House of Columns is an old building.

Then we’ll take you from the beach to the desert, where you’ll see the most animals in Africa.You can drive to Amboseli Park to see elephants for sure, or you can go to Tsavo Parks, which is Kenya’s oldest and biggest park.
