Kirurumu Serengeti North Camp, is a high-class mobile camp that is moved with the seasons to make the most of the Serengeti’s vastness. As a base, the camp is used for an early morning game drive, a break for a delicious lunch, a break from the heat of the day, and the end of a journey where stories can be told around a fire. The staff is only there to take care of a small group of guests at this small, cozy camp, so the level of service and attention is always top-notch. The whole camp can be booked just for your private party.Every year, this camp is open from June to October. We are at the famous and beautiful Sonzo private site at Kogatende. We don’t stay in one place all the time. Because the movement is unpredictable, we think that our seasonality and the fact that our camps may move around within a general area is the best way to plan our strategy. Most of the time, we stay away from areas with a lot of people. Instead, we use our extensive knowledge and years of experience to find places that are less crowded but still great for wildlife.

Even though you can’t be sure you’ll see the wildebeest migration, our campsite is in a great spot right now to see them cross the Great Mara River. There are rolling grassland forests in the Kogatende area, and you can see for a long way the cliff that separates the Maasai Mara Game Reserve from Kenya.
